Refreshing Page with Classic Report on Apex

Good day I have a page with two region, one static, with an item to search and a submit button and the other one, a classic report. Every time I search and return to the page, the sql from the report executes with the previous search, hence delaying the loading of the page.  I tried adding a clear session state in a process before header and it clears the page but it fires every time I click submit and does not return any records. Please help

  1. You can do two things in this case.

    1. On the submit button, create a dynamic action to refresh only that classic report region instead of loading the whole page. Because when your page loads, it will clear that item.
    2. Check the menu option, from where you are calling the page having the classic report. Say the page number is 2, which is calling the page number 3, which is having the report. Now go to page 2 and open that link property. There you will find the clear cache option. Then delete the clear state process you created, because now it is not needed.

    Clear Cache in Oracle Apex.
